Dr. G. Louis Hornyak, Ph.D. is currently serving as the CEO of Earth Products Consulting, a Thailand-based company and partner of Sayris Capital. He is internationally renown for his ground-breaking textbooks Introduction to Nanoscience and Fundamentals of Nanotechnology, both published by Taylor & Francis. Dr. Hornyak served as the Director of the Center for Learning Innovation & Quality (CLIQ), the Center of Excellence in Nanotechnology (COEN) and later of Special Programs at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand since 2009 to the present. He is retiring from AIT in December 2020. Dr. Hornyak specializes in converting natural products into high technology as well as into products that protect the environment and enhance the health of human beings. Most importantly, he believes strongly in a community-based approach to sustainable development and in promoting microeconomic technology-based enterprises in rural communities.
